Hello! I am a Honduran, interdisciplinary environmental scientist, and am currently a researcher at the University of Bonn’s Institute for Food and Resource Economics, as a part of the Economics of Sustainable Land-use team, and working on the project "Creating Leverage to Enhance Biodiversity Outcomes of Global Biomass Trade" (CLEVER).
I am interested in land-system science (e.g. land governance, land-tenure, environmental policies), nature and biodiversity conservation, and doing impact evaluation of development and environmental conservation interventions across spatial and temporal scales - particularly in tropical settings in the global south. I am also a fellow of the Nexus Assessment on the interlinkages among biodiversity, climate, water, food, and health from the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).
