Hello! I am a Honduran, interdisciplinary environmental scientist, and am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University's Forest and Nature Conservation Policy.

Previously I was a part of the CLEVER project at Uni Bonn, and worked on the IPBES Nexus Assessment as a fellow from 2022-2024.

I am broadly interested in how humans impact the environment and biodiversity, in particular in tropical settings in the global south. I typically work within the framework of land-system science (e.g. land governance, land-tenure, environmental policies), and am interested in using causal-inference methods (impact evaluation) in furthering our understanding of human-driven biodiversity imapcts.
